Kim Johnson, Psy.D., LSSP

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST
(LIFESPAN)

Dr. Johnson is a clinical neuropsychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology who specializes in understanding and evaluating the relationship between brain disorders and behavior. She is essentially passionate about neuropsychological evaluations  and  enjoys evaluating individuals 4 years old through senior adult for a wide range of learning problems, developmental delays, autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, complex medical and neurological problems,  emotional-behavioral disorders, brain injuries, strokes and various neurodegenerative disorders.

At 16 years of age, Dr. Johnson was one of the youngest students to enroll at Southern Methodist University and graduate with an undergraduate degree in psychology.  She earned her Master of Arts degree and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California in 2001.  She completed two post-doctorate programs:  a one-year program in school psychology and a two-year program in pediatric and adult neuropsychology.  Dr. Johnson’s training and experience comprises diverse settings: evaluating students in a school setting, working with juvenile offenders and severely emotionally disturbed adolescents in residential facilities, diagnosing adults in outpatient and inpatient facilities, and providing consultative services to several government agencies about various neurocognitive dysfunction. She is also one of the few neuropsychologists in Texas who is trained in Aviation Psychology to perform FAA-required evaluations on pilots and air traffic controllers.

In 2009, Dr. Johnson established Johnson Neuropsychology,  an independent practice,  to provide personalized care and neuropsychological expertise across the lifespan to individuals who have disabilities and complex medical presentations as well as to gifted individuals and neurotypical individuals who want documentation of their cognitive abilities.

Alejandra Lopez, Psy.D.

Neuropsychologist

Dr. Lopez is a clinical neuropsychologist and Rehabilitation psychologist. She compleated her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Florida International University. She then earned her Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Dr. Lopez completed her pre-doctoral internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She then compleated a two year fellowship in neuropsychology and Rehabilitation psychology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Lopez has worked with adults and older adults and specializes in the assessment of people with acquired brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders,  and other medically complex populations. Dr. Lopez also has training and experience providing services to Spanish Speaking individuals.

Deborah Lowe, Ph.D.

Neuropsychologist
(Adult/Geriatric)

Dr. Lowe is a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in adult and geriatric neuropsychology. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Biola University in La Mirada, California. She earned her Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in clinical psychology with emphasis training in neuropsychology from Texas A&M University. She completed a pre-doctoral internship in neuropsychology at the Charleston Consortium in South Carolina, as well as a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Lowe has specialized training and experience in medically complex populations including various dementia syndromes, movement disorders, epilepsy, stroke, brain injuries, neurodevelopmental disorders, and other neurological and chronic health problems affecting cognitive functioning.

Amy McMahan, Ph.D., LP, LSSP

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST (PEDIATRIC)

Dr. Amy McMahan is a pediatric neuropsychologist and school psychologist who earned her Ph.D. from Texas Woman’s University. She completed a year-long APA-accredited doctoral internship through the Virginia Beach City Public Schools and a two-year APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology through a private practice outside Boston, MA.She has worked with children and adolescents from a variety of backgrounds and spanning a wide range of ages, from early toddlerhood through college-aged! Dr. McMahan’s training has provided her particular experience with assessing ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning problems, emotional-behavioral disorders, developmental delays, and other conditions. Herapproach focuses on the whole child – to learn about their unique strengths and areas of vulnerability to best support a positive developmental trajectory. Dr. McMahan’s background in both neuropsychology and school psychology provides a unique lens in which to understand the child’s and family’s needs and create a meaningful plan of action.

Princess Braggs, Ph.D.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Braggs is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in neuropsychological evaluations for adult and geriatric populations with neurodegenerative conditions, acquired brain injuries, and other neurological challenges. Dr. Braggs earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, with a focus on neuropsychology. She completed an APA-accredited internship in adult neuropsychology at the University of Missouri – Columbia and pursued further specialization through a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in rehabilitation and neuropsychology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Braggs is dedicated to enhancing quality of life through evidence-based assessments that inform accurate diagnosis and guide treatment planning. She works collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver personalized care that supports shared decision-making and promotes optimal health outcomes. With a background in physical medicine and rehabilitation, she brings a functional, systems-based perspective that supports the management of complex neurocognitive disorders and co-occurring health conditions. Her approach is grounded in recognizing and addressing the multidimensional needs of both patients and their care partners.

Keshia Sanders Cooper, Ph.D.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Keshia Maranda Sanders Cooper is a clinical neuropsychologist who provides compassionate, comprehensive evaluations for children, adults, and older adults. She specializes in diagnosing and understanding conditions such as ADHD, autism, learning difficulties, brain injuries, stroke, dementia, and emotional or behavioral challenges.

Known for her warm, thoughtful approach, Dr. Sanders Cooper helps individuals and families make sense of complex brain-based concerns and offers clear, personalized recommendations to support success at school, work, and home.

She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology and has worked in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics across the U.S. She also serves as a Locum neuropsychologist in Bermuda, expanding access to high-quality neuropsychological care for underserved communities.

Dr. Sanders Cooper is passionate about helping others understand their strengths, navigate their challenges, and move forward with confidence.

Abigail Baird, Ph.D.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST

Dr. Abigail Baird is a clinical neuropsychologist who provides comprehensive evaluations for adults with memory concerns, movement disorders, epilepsy, acquired brain injuries, neurodevelopmental conditions, complex medical and psychiatric diagnoses, and a wide range of neurological conditions. Her clinical expertise also includes independent medical evaluations, presurgical assessments, and interpreter-mediated evaluations for patients from diverse linguistic backgrounds. She earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Texas Woman’s University, completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship in clinical neuropsychology at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, and pursued a two-year APPCN-accredited fellowship in neuropsychology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX within the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery. She also served on multidisciplinary teams at the Menninger Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center, supporting the care of individuals with complex mental illness and cancer-related cognitive changes.

Dr. Baird is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, integrating her
extensive training with warmth, attention to detail, and clear communication. She
emphasizes family education and culturally informed practices, helping patients and
their loved ones better understand cognitive health and feel supported throughout the evaluation process.

Ashlee Peterson, B.S., M.S.

Psychometrist

Ashlee Peterson is a psychometrist who administers standardized tests under the supervision and licensure of Dr. Johnson. Ashlee completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in sociology from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, she worked as a cake decorator for almost ten years. She admits if she did not choose psychology she would have been in culinary school. While working on her Master’s degree, she completed her training/practicum at Johnson Neuropsychology before accepting accepting a full-time position with the Company. She has been trained in both psychological and neuropsychological test administration for pediatrics and adults. She especially enjoys working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, high school and college-bound students with learning disabilities, and individuals with psychosis. She plans on one day completing her doctoral degree in order to perform psychological and neuropsychological assessments for all ages.

Kim Lawson, B.S., C.S.P.

Psychometrist

Kim Lawson is a Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) with over 14 years of psychological and neuropsychological testing experience. She is one of only a few CSP’s in Texas, earning this distinction in 2012.

Kim graduated from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Human Services. She has conducted neuropsychological testing in a variety of outpatient, rehabilitation and hospital settings, and has experience testing patients with a variety of neurocognitive disorders including traumatic and acquired brain injuries, attentional disorders, and memory disorders.

Cortni Smith, B.A., M.S.

Psychometrist

Cortni Smith completed her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. During her last year of graduate studies, she completed a year-long practicum in neuropsychological and psychological assessment. Additionally, she was a graduate teaching assistant for Physiological Psychology and Fixed Battery Approach to Neuropsychological Assessment. Cortni has continued to work as a psychometrist over the last five years in a multitude of clinical settings, including private practice, inpatient hospitals, outpatient hospitals, and neurorehabilitation. She has experience in testing from adolescent to geriatric populations, specializing in neuropsychological and psychological assessment for Dementia, TBI, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, ADHD, and other and cognitive dysfunctions.

Ana Castillo, B.S., M.S.

Psychometrist

Ana Castillo is a psychometrist and dedicated professional with a strong academic background and diverse experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and is pursuing a Master of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. Ana’s career has been deeply influenced by her passion for rehabilitation, where she has applied her expertise to support individuals in their journey to recovery and personal growth. Through her education and practical experience, Ana continues to drive positive change in the fields of mental health and organizational well-being.

Jacky Flair, B.S., M.S.

Psychometrist

Jacky is a skilled psychometrist with five years of experience in neuropsychological testing and assessment, having worked with individuals across all age ranges, from children to the geriatric population. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Jacky is passionate about cognitive rehabilitation and improving recovery outcomes for individuals with neurological conditions; specializing in neuropsychological assessment for conditions such as Dementia, TBIs, Parkinson’s, Stroke, ADHD, MS, Epilepsy, and other cognitive impairments. With experience in a wide variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, she has collaborated with interdisciplinary teams, trained interns, and developed rehabilitation strategies for people with executive dysfunction. Jacky believes in the power of evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and, outside of her clinical work, volunteers at an Alzheimer’s special care center. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Andrea Savkovic, B.S., M.S.

Psychometrist

Andrea Savkovic is a skilled psychometrist with extensive experience administering
neuropsychological assessments for individuals across the lifespan, specializing in working with both young children and older adults. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Tarleton State University.


Prior to her role in psychometry, she served as a lecturer in psychology and conducted research in areas of stigma among marginalized populations and self-efficacy in educational settings. Her academic and research experience reinforces her commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based care. Outside of work, she can be found volunteering with local community outreach, watching reality television, and hunting down the best matcha in town.

Kristy Mace, B.S., M.S.

Psychometrist

Kristy Mace is a psychometrist serving adult and older adult populations. She has years of experience giving neuropsychological assessments, having worked with patients in Arizona, Kansas and now Texas. Kristy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wichita State University, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Her collegiate research experience bridged the gap of these two fields, in the area of Community Psychology. She continues to have a passion for  Cognitive Psychology research, particularly in neuropsychological assessment development. 

When not at work, Kristy enjoys photography, bowling, and spending time with her family. 

Nicole Hazelett, B.A.

Office Manager

Born and raised in Texas, Nicole has always had a passion for psychology and helping others. While attending Dubiski Career High School in Grand Prairie, she studied health science and interned at Baylor of Irving, all while playing varsity sports, including volleyball at South Grand Prairie High School. She later earned her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Psychology from Texas State University, further fueling her dedication to understanding human behavior and making a positive impact.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their two dogs, watching sports, reading, and collecting vinyl records.
